The Innovation in Construction Forum (ICF) has partnered with the Construction Owners Association of Alberta (COAA) for the 2021 Virtual Best Practices Conference: BUILDING RESILIENCE
The ICF has long been established as an important venue for the circulation of ideas, practices, and solutions among researchers and members of the construction industry in Alberta and Canada at large. COAA is recognized for its facilitation of owner leadership and for fostering collaboration in the construction and maintenance sectors of Alberta heavy industrial construction. Through this partnership with COAA, the Construction Innovation Centre (CIC) is excited to continue forging vital connections between construction professionals and delivering proven tools and techniques for improving and advancing construction.
Established in 2019 by the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Engineering, the CIC brings together more than 30 faculty members from different disciplines and more than 50 industry partners, professional associations, government agencies, and funding bodies to provide unparalleled opportunities for collaborative and multidisciplinary research, education, and training that directly benefit Canada’s built environment and provide a competitive advantage for the Canadian construction industry.
